Rajasegaran (Senior Technical Officer) holds a PhD in Materials Engineering at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore for his work on “Preparation of polyelectrolyte multilayered micro and nanocapsules for the targeted drug and gene delivery against MDR cancer cells and solid tumor.”. At Centre for Biotechnology - Anna University, he has completed B. Tech and M. Tech in biopharmaceutical technology. Rajasegaran has published three peer reviewed scientific articles and served as invited reviewer in many research journals in the area of bio-nanomaterials.
Earlier, Rajasegaran has worked at ITC India Ltd., Central Interdisciplinary Research Facilities (CIDRF, MGMCH & RI), and then, went to South Africa to do postdoctoral research work on “Preparation of metal nanoparticles embedded nanocarriers and Silk scaffolds for wound healing” at the Nanotechnology and Water Sustainability Research Unit, University of South Africa (UNISA) and Witwatersrand University, Johannesburg.
